How do I Shorten my PTFE Bar ?
Elementary, my dear Watson! PTFE is a soft flexible plastic that slices like butter under a sharp blade ... and if your mother won't let you have a sharp blade, you can use those scissors with the rounded ends. The plastic is self tapping, so once you have cut the bar to the length you want, the accessories can be screwed on .... but take care ... if you cut off too much ... you can't make it longer! TIP when you cut your bar, allow for that part which will disappear where you screw on the accessory generally about 2mm per threaded length.
