LOVE IT I got the Monroe Piercing but was faced with the issue of hiding for work, since I work in a JAIL!!! Bioflex Internal Labret Retainer These retainers are the best we have tried, the O ring ones are totally useless the O ring slides to the end and falls off,these are very secure,my son keeps getting in trouble at school for having piercings but you have to strain to see these so he can't get into trouble for what they can't see. love them so much! well what can i say! i used to get in trouble at work for my piercings as i have my monroe, ears, nose, and snake bits done. i got these and they work amazing! i am a P.E teacher and they dont fall out when doing exersise or anything! ever so easy! amazing! (17/09/2009) -
Very Discreet I had both lobes pierced. So, as I well passed my teenage years and now employed in a client facing role as a contractor, I wanted a discreet retainer while my ears healed. If anyone has noticed they don’t care, very inoffensive. They are tidy and very small. (27/03/2009) -
The Internal labret base comes in different disc sizes, to suit your piercing, and on the top, you get a small BioFlex disc of 2mm size fixed on a little shaft that will push-fit inside the 1.6mm gauge labret, and that will hold just like it should !
The hole inside the labret will be always a bit longer than the hide-it Head, so you will always have the oppotunity to adjust the size of at least 1mm, so keep this in mind when you choose your size for the length of the labret if you are not sure..to shorten the bar, just use a sharp blade and cut the end of the labret..
And the whole labret being in BioFlex, safe and sterilisable medical grade plastic, you could even get pierced with it ! You might need to take it a bit longer though to allow for some eventual swelling that can occur just after the piercing. So here you go, the ultimate labret to hide your piercing at work, home, holiday or meetings, and let's not forget minor surgery in hospital where you need piercing retainer !
